Bollywood’s power couple Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor will finally get married on 18th October. The date of their wedding has been a matter of much speculation for the past many months and although the couple is still tight lipped on the date issue, Kareena’s mom in law Sharmila Tagore is busy giving out invitation cards. Kareena has also taken to publicly calling Sharmila, “my mother in law” and has declared that she will add the Khan surname but at the same time retain Kapoor, thus becoming Kareena Kapoor Khan. In her own words, she will have the two most powerful surnames in Bollywood attached to her name. She says “My name will have a triple K- KKK.” We can see Ekta Kapoor who has a penchant for the letter K going green with envy at this. Many Bollywood personalities consider the letter K auspicious. Another well known example is Karan Johar whose quite a few movies start with the letter K. Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Kal Ho Na Ho, Kabhi Alvidaa Na Kehna, Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham are some of Karan’s super hits starting with the letter K.
Ever since the announcement of its making, Heroine has been in a lot of controversy. Rumoured to be based on actress Manisha Koirala’s life, it is already on the must watch list of the avid Bollywood fan. Set to release on September 21, the marketing hype for the film is at its peak. As is the fashion these days, Kareena Kapoor is making appearances in a number of popular TV programs to promote Heroine. The buzz about Kareena’s upcoming marriage has further added on to the cinegoer’s curiosity and Kareena is making the most of this free publicity blitz by continuing to hedge questions about her marriage. Her next big venture and last movie before marriage to Saif is also on the verge of completion. Titled, 'Talaash' it is alongside Aamir Khan and is slated to be released on November 30. The super confident Kareena is sure that her marriage is not going to hinder her career in any way. Then, why the hitch in acknowledging the date, Kareena, when mom-in-law has already distributed the cards also?
